Deer-Resistant Plants
Deer are lovely to behold, but they also believe that any garden, be it a flower garden, vegetable garden or orchard, has been planted for them to eat. A hungry deer will chomp on just about anything, but plants that they won’t go for right away include:
• Daffodils
• Poppies
• Peonies
• Bleeding Hearts
• Strong-scented herbs
These plants either have a toxin the deer prefer not to eat, or they just don’t smell good to them.
